Welcome to Computational Cardiovascular Biomechanics Lab

We develop computational methods to better understand the pathogenesis of various cardiovascular diseases. Further methods are developed to evaluate the risk of the diseases and to predict the outcomes of treatments and medical device installments. We conduct highly interdisciplinary research combining knowledge in medical imaging, computer vision, medicine, biology, physiology, and computational mechanics.
